TWO well-known actors have joined the cast of a film about the death of T.E Lawrence.
Lawrence After Arabia is a new film scheduled for release in 2020, which is currently being shot on location in Dorset.
The film will be asking the question as to whether Lawrence died in a car accident or a murder orchestrated by the British Secret Service.
Michael Maloney, who is best known for his roles in Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet, Young Victoria and The Iron Lady, has been cast as George Brough.
Brough was a famous motorcycle manufacturer and close friend of the famous soldier, with Lawrence riding a Brough Superior motorcycle up until his death.
The actor has already shot scenes for the film at Compton Abbas Airfield.
Hugh Fraser will be playing the role of Lord Allenby, Lawrence’s commander in Arabia.
He is best known for his role as Captain Hastings in the television series Agatha Christie’s Poirot opposite David Suchet, as well as the Duke of Wellington in the TV series Sharpe.
