A MAN from Blandford has been arrested after a brawl in Dorchester.
The 24-year-old was held on suspicion of affray following an incident in an alleyway between South Street and Trinity Street at 1.30pm on Thursday, May 23.
Police say two men were attacked by a group of three young men. One of the victims suffered injuries to his face and a second victim reportedly sustained an injury to his head, but did not seek medical treatment.
The Blandford man has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A 27-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has also been arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon and a 21-year-old Dorchester man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. They have both also been released under investigation.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
