POLICE have closed Matchams Lane and the air ambulance landed after a multi-vehicle crash between Raceway and Snowtrax.
Early reports indicate three cars, a motorbike and a pick-up truck are involved, although no further information is yet available. Some witnesses say seven vehicles were involved, although it is now believed this is not accurate.
The air ambulance was called to the scene, as well as four ambulances and three additional paramedics.
One person was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious leg injuries. The injury is believed to be a badly broken leg. A second person has been taken to Poole Hospital with serious injuries, although further details are not yet known.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said officers were called at 2.20pm.
"One person was trapped in a vehicle," the spokesperson said.
