A TEENAGE boy is among two people who have been arrested after a man was stabbed in broad daylight in Bournemouth town centre.

The incident happened in Gervis Place at around 6.35pm on Monday, May 13.

Armed officers rushed to the scene and the victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries were not life-threatening and he has since left hospital.

Police said that following enquiries, a 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Enfield in London, have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

They are assisting detectives with their enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Dave Pearce, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on their mobile phone or on dashcam.”
