PLANS to build four bungalows in Bournemouth have been approved.
Shemron Homes applied to redevelop land behind 52 Redhill Drive in February.
It followed the backing of two other proposals, totalling 10 bungalows, for land behind the adjoining Pine View Gardens.
The developer said its plans were “a good opportunity” to build more “small family housing” in the area.
None of the bungalows would be made available as ‘affordable’ housing with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council not requiring contributions from developments of fewer than 10 homes.
Provision is made in the application for 11 parking spaces.
A report by a council planning officer, approving the scheme, said the development would be “appropriate” and that it would cause “no material harm” to neighbours of the site.
