A SUMMER house, a shed and a garage were badly damaged in a blaze in Pokesdown this morning.

Three fire engines were called to reports of a fire in Clarence Park Road at 10.25am.

Firefighters were preparing to leave the scene shortly after 1pm.

A spokesperson from the Dorset fire service said the outbuildings were "well alight".

"Crews were delayed for some time dampening down," she said.

"They will make a reinspection at 3pm."
