BRITAIN’S top-ranked female golfer has renewed her partnership off the course with motor dealership the Hendy Group.

Georgia Hall, last year’s Women’s British Open winner, has taken delivery of a new Kia Sportage.

The sportswoman, who lives in Wimborne, said: “I’m really grateful to Hendy for its support in keeping me mobile.

“When I’m at home, I travel around quite a lot between Bournemouth, Wentworth and various other places, so it’s great to know that I can rely on Hendy’s support. I get a great service from them too.”

She will defend her Women’s British Open title at Woburn in August and represent Europe against America in the Solheim Cup at Gleneagles in September.

Paul Hendy, chief executive of the Hendy Group, said: “We are thrilled to continue supporting Georgia who is a real star in the golf world and a great ambassador for Hendy Group.

“Since turning professional in 2014, Georgia has achieved tremendous success in tournaments across the globe, and we wish her good luck and every success this year.”

Hendy bought the Dorset-based Westover dealerships earlier this year and is due to open a new car store in Ferndown on Saturday, May 25.
