HEALTH inspectors have revisited Poole Hospital to follow-up on a warning notice issued last year.
The Care Quality Commission carried out an unannounced inspection of surgery services at the hospital in June and raised concerns about the “safety and quality” of care.
It found that staff were not always following infection and medicine management procedures while systems to monitor the service were also criticised.
Last month, theatres were inspected again to check on the progress made to improve.
A report to the board of NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) says they are still awaiting a full report from the visit.
