WIDELY acclaimed DJ and producer Paul Van Dyk returns to Bournemouth for a night clubbing marathon this bank holiday weekend. The German trance wizard, or PvD as he is known to his fans, has been performing since 1991 and is back in town to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Slinky on Sunday, the most successful Bournemouth-born global trance brand of all time.
The anniversary celebration will be held at town centre club Halo, which officially celebrates its sixth birthday on Saturday. Ty Temel owner of Halo said: “This weekend we celebrate six fantastic years under the Halo arches by welcoming former world number 1 DJ Paul Van Dyk to coincide with Slinky’s 22nd birthday.
“We will then round things off by celebrating six years of Halo Mondays, the only student night in the UK to run 52 weeks a year. Expect tonnes of confetti, CO2 blasts, production like no other and smiles for an amazing bank holiday weekend.”
Ty added: “We work very closely with local authorities to ensure we provide a fun yet safe environment for our customers which has been backed up by Halo winning a number of awards including ‘Best Club’ for four consecutive years.
“We strive to pioneer in our sector and always stay ahead of the game, our whole team live and breath this with great passion. We look after our staff with a family unit feel which in turn looks after our customers. We have built a very strong brand through continual investment in production and entertainment which has given 2000 customers a week a unique one off and memorable experience.
“Thank you to everyone for their continued support.”
