Linda Thornton, secretary for the charity, said: "We can’t thank Martyn and his team enough for this fantastic support and thanks must also go to Primera Sports who are supplying “undershorts” for all the riders. Go smash it guys!"

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation was set up in memory of John Thornton who was killed in Afghanistan in 2008. The charity provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions.
