DORSET-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find forever homes for dogs, cats and rabbits in its care this week.

Five-year-old cat Meme is looking for a forever home with her mum, Millie. They would need to be the only pets but should be fine to live with cat friendly children.

Fellow feline, Elmo, is six-years-old and is likes attention on her terms. She is looking for a quiet home as the only pet. Elmo is quite unusual in that she has six toes on each foot.

Thomas is a five-year-old mini lop rabbit looking for a home with his brother Rodger where they will have a lot of space.

Ada is a three-year-old female Greyhound. She can live with larger sized dogs but would prefer not to live with cats but could live with older children.

Nancy is a four-year-old female Lurcher who would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Nancy enjoys human company and will happily take all the cuddles she can get so could live with teenagers.

Shadow is a two-year-old male Siberian Husky looking for an active family because once he is back to full fitness (he is currently underweight) he would benefit from lots of exercise and mental stimulation. He would be happiest as the only pet in an adult only home.

To rehome the cats and rabbits call 01929 480474 and for the dogs call 01929 471340.
