THIS is the moment a pod of dolphins delighted jet skiers off Purbeck.

Jeremy House from Poole was out on the water with family on Good Friday at around 1pm when they were joined by a group of friendly dolphins.

Jeremy’s 12-year-old daughter Evie who was passenger on her dad’s jet ski managed to capture footage of the magical moment as they made their way back from Durdle Door with Jeremy’s son Thomas and his girlfriend Amy.

“We were coming back from Durdle Door up to Swanage and basically we got to where the white lighthouse about half a mile before there and we just saw them all. There were about 15 of them.”

“That’s the first time we’ve gone that way but it was quite amazing.

He added: “We actually drove off in the end because they were swimming off towards Swanage. In the end we were with them for around 15 minutes.”

“This is the first time I’d ever seen them.”

He said his young daughter had been delighted by the surprise visitors.

Jeremy said: “Some of them, the faster you went the quicker they became and they started jumping. They were swimming underneath the jet skis and everything it was lovely.”
