The fire is understood to have started at Sherman Chemicals, which is based at the park, and involved "hazardous substances", the fire service said.
The fire sent out a large plume of smoke across the area. Residents in the West Melbury and Shaftesbury areas were urged to stay indoors and keep their windows and doors shut last night due to the smoke.
Roads surrounding the business park were shut while firefighters brought the blaze under control, but the roads have now been re-opened.
