ENJOY an eight day river cruise through the cultural heart of Europe courtesy of the Daily Echo, Fred Olsen Travel and Amadeus River Cruises.
The Rhine and Danube Symphony full-board cruise, worth £5,000, will depart on September 12 on board the Amadeus Silver II, and includes return flights from London to Cologne for two people.
Winners of the competition will enjoy the expertise and immersive cultural experiences offered by experts Amadeus and will discover the best of Europe’s waterways in comfort and style.
The itinerary also includes Rudesheim, Miltenburg, Wertheim, Bamberg, Nuremburg, Regensburg and Passau.
The winners will travel in style in a large, river-view stateroom with a French balcony, with gourmet dining in the elegant Panorama restaurant, which accommodates all guests in one seating.
Free-flowing quality red and white wines from Europe’s famous wine regions will be on offer, as will draft beer.
On-board entertainment includes lectures, a cooking demonstration, on-board music performances and nightly music by the Amadeus Duo in the Panorama Bar. Smoking is permitted on the sun deck.
