CALLING all new nurses everywhere! Bournemouth Hospital is holding a recruitment day on Saturday May 11 with jobs being offered on the day.

The event is an opportunity for nurses to find out what it’s like to work at RBH, have a tour of the hospital and meet the teams in the areas they’d like to work. Nurses who have recently qualified will also be on hand to talk to applicants about support and mentorship via the Trust’s preceptorship development programme and appraisal system.

Directorate Matron for Surgery, Sue Davies, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming newly qualified nurses to meet #TeamRBCH and find out what it’s like to work here. The day aims to give them a true taste of what it’s like to work at our Trust and we're also providing lunch."

Current vacancies include positions in acute medicine (the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit), stroke services, older person’s medicine, surgical speciality wards, emergency surgery, theatres and anaesthetics and cancer care.

Those wishing to attend the day should sign up at www.rbch.nhs.uk/careers.
