There will also be face painting and storytelling at Bournemouth Library and a secret cinema at Poole Hill Brewery.

People can pick up a free programme of events from Bournemouth Library and the Upside Down House on the day.

Other activities include a shop window trail for the chance to win prizes and photo opportunities with well-known children’s’ characters.

Organiser Suzy Wheeler said: “This is a fun and fab day out for mums and dads, grannies and grandpas plus lots to do for children aged 10 and under.”
