How exciting to see the regeneration and enhancement project at Durlston gardens.
The scheme has great ideas for making it accessible to all visitors and the work on walls, paths, viewpoints and woodland management is already making it a delightful experience.
However, walking the stunning meadows of the Durlston nature reserve, it is so disappointing to see the number of dog owners who are disregarding the numerous posters on the gates and stiles about protecting nesting skylarks. The request to keep their dogs on leads is blatantly ignored. Is it the dogs or the owners who can't read?
