A FREE tennis class is taking place in Poole Park every Sunday morning.
The fun sessions between 10am and 11.30am are open to all ages and free equipment is available.
The first hour is a free coach-led session followed by 30 minutes of open play.
The event is organised by Tennis For Free, a community sports charity that works in local parks around the UK that helps to remove the cost barrier and get people of all ages into tennis.
The sessions held in Poole Park on March 31 and April 7 were the most attended of all the events across the UK with 57 attendees.
Tennis coach Brett Townsend said: “This is a fantastic achievement and with the fantastic offer the council have in place which is £24 a year per household membership this is a great way to get everyone into tennis.”
