A POLICE investigation has been launched following a fire in Lymington on Saturday night.

Firefighters from Lymington, Beaulieu and New Milton were all called out to Jordans Lane, Pilley, at about 10.20pm.

The fire took place in a wooden outbuilding, and a water carrier from Eastleigh was used to tackle the blaze.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire is still unknown.

The fire was extinguished at around midnight.

No one was injure in the blaze, however it completely destroyed the building.

Hampshire Constabulary has launched an investigation into the cause.
