ORGANISERS of a popular annual Bournemouth running event are hoping to attract more runners from Down Under this year.
The Rotary Easter Quarter Marathon returns on Saturday, April 20, during the Easter weekend. The 6.7 mile event is organised by the East Cliff Rotary Club and sets off from Boscombe Pier at 11am.
The race attracts up to 500 runners each year.
Club president Keith Randall said: “We have had runners from all over the UK and some European countries, this year we are going for a bigger share from Australia and New Zealand.”
