A DRIVER caught speeding four times in just over a week – including twice in a day – has been banned from the roads.
Isaac Lopez, of Carters Avenue in Poole, was snapped breaking the speed limit on September 30 and October 11 2018. He was also spotted twice on October 7.
On each occasion, he was behind the wheel of his Peugeot.
The 42-year-old broke the speed limit in:
- Blandford Road, Hamworthy, where he drove at 38 miles per hour in a 30mph road
- The A337 Lymington Road, Highcliffe, where he drove at 46mph in a 30mph road
- The A338 Wessex Way, Bournemouth, where he drove at 48mph in a 40mph road
- Fleets Lane, Poole, where he drove at 45mph in a 30mph road
Lopez was convicted of the four counts at Poole Magistrates' Court on Monday, April 8.
He was handed a total of 14 points and disqualified from driving for 12 months. Magistrates also fined from £200 and ordered him to pay a £30 surcharge and £200 costs.
