THIS huge chicken and chicks sculpture has been causing quite a stir with Dorset drivers.
On the roadside at the A31, in a field near Almer, Winterborne Zelston, the bale sculpture is part of a contest launched to promote the Dorset Young Farmers (DYF) Rally & Show.
It is one of a number of sculptures dotted around the county, and is in the running to win top prize in the contest.
The DYF show, set for Dorchester Showground on April 20, promises a range of activities.
A spokesman said: βIt includes sheep sheering, a tug-of-war, various displays, assault course, floral art, a dog show, tractor driving, fencing, cooking and handicrafts.β
The bale sculptures can be any size and any theme.
Points are awarded, says DYF, for advertisement detail, theme and location.
