NICE to know that Dorset has been allocated £11.1m for road maintenance. But how much of that figure has been granted for Bournemouth?
The roads in our borough are in an appalling state of disrepair and some resemble nothing more than corrugated tracks.
Winton, Moordown, Boscombe, West Howe, are dangerous to drive on.
Recently my rear silencer snapped off from going over a deeply sunken manhole cover. These arterial roads need a complete resurfacing, not a temporary patch here and there. Should this method of maintenance continue, then in the very near future there won't be any roads left to support any form of transportation.
