SIX cats and dogs at Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green are hoping to find their forever homes this week.

Cats Timmy, Elmo and Biggles at Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre are among those in need of new homes.

Timmy is almost 13-years-old and his previous owners went into nursing homes so he’s looking for a quiet home as the only pet.

Six-year-old Elmo is fairly outgoing and likes affection but it has to be on her terms. She is looking for a quiet forever home as the only pet.

Biggles is 16-years-old and may be a little wary when you first meet him. He is an active lad but also loves his home comforts. He would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Ada is a three-year-old female Greyhound with a very bubbly personality who can live with larger sized dogs but would be best suited to a home without cats. She can also live with older children.

Billy is a three-year-old male ex-racing greyhound who is very enthusiastic and excited about life. He would be happy living with older children and a fellow sighthound and would be better suited to a home without cats.

Frankie is two-years-old and a very happy girl which shows in her waggy tail. She likes squeaky toys and human company. Frankie can live with large dogs, older children but not cats.

To rehome the cats call 01929 480474 and for the dogs contact Lincoln Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre on 01929 471340.
