THE DAILY Echo can reveal that the Queen’s Park Pre School, which has remained closed for the third week running, had a deficit of more than £10,000 from 2016-2017.
In 2016 the pre-school earned £228,632.
However, a year later that had dropped to £198,191. These are the most recent years for which figures are available.
The school’s website is still running, promising parents that: “Queen’s Park Preschool’s mission is to build strong partnerships between staff, children, families and the wider community so that all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
It also talks about an environment of ‘mutual trust and respect where a holistic approach is taken to the children in our care.”
The pre-school is registered as a charity.
