SEVENTY batteries have been stolen from a shooting school in Purbeck.
The batteries which power clay pigeon contraptions were stolen from Purbeck Shooting School in Puddletown Road, Wareham, sometime between March 9 12.
The batteries were reportedly marked with blue paint in order to identify them.
Purbeck police say the batteries aren’t used for vehicles as they give out a different charge to a car battery and are normally used for leisure goods caravans.
Anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101 quoting reference number 55190037636.
