MEN armed with a knife and Taser raided a home in Hamworthy last night.

Police are hunting for five offenders after an aggravated burglary at a property in Maryland Road at 7.30pm.

Two men – one of whom was known to one of the occupants – visited the address. A short time later, three other men arrived.

One of these men, who is described as black, around six feet two inches tall, of medium build and wearing black clothing, had a knife.

Another man, described as white, around five feet nine inches tall, aged in his mid thirties and with a receding hairline, was carrying a black Taser.

The men took a number of items from the address, including a PlayStation 4 and a rose gold Samsung S7 Edge mobile phone. All five suspects then left the address together.

A white transit van was also reportedly seen in the area at the time of the offence. Detectives say this may be linked to the incident.

One of the victims, a man aged in his 20s, suffered a cut and grazes to his hands.

Detective Constable Katie Spyrou, of Bournemouth CID, said officers are searching for the men responsible.
