FANS of film, television and comic books dressed as their favourite characters as part of an event at the BIC this weekend.
The annual Film & Comic Con Bournemouth featured a number of famous faces including Ingrid Oliver and Sophie Aldred from Doctor Who, Derren Nesbitt from Where Eagles Dare, Shauna Macdonald from The Descent, plus Oliver Ford Davies, Kate Dickie, Indira Varma and Wilf Scolding from Game of Thrones.
Cosplay enthusiasts showed off their creations, while browsing a variety of stalls selling memorabilia.
Alice Perry, who was dressed as anime character Zero Two, attended the event with friends Emily Albourgh and Anna Denison, who were dressed as characters from Captain America and The Legend of Zelda.
“It’s the first time we’ve been to the Bournemouth Film & Comic Con as we’ve been to ones in London,” Anna said.
“We love cosplay, and the comic cons are a good laugh and way to meet people.”
Star Wars costume group Dorset Troopers were gathered outside the BIC to raise money for Julia's House.
