I AM very much backing the Litter Free Dorset campaign, reducing single use plastics etc.
I am a regular user of the local Dorchester Tesco (convenience of store location rather than choice I might add) and regularly walk to the store via the back entrance behind the tennis and squash club.
The litter in this area behind the Tesco car park is disgusting. The hedgerows and shrubs and boarders are full of food packaging, glass bottles and other general waste. It has clearly been there for a number of months.
I have reported the issue to the store on several occasions and they have done nothing about the situation. Given the recent campaigns and environmental impact you would think they would be really keen to get on top of the issue which is quite simple, pick it up!
Just wondered what other peoples’ opinions were about Dorchester’s biggest store being so irresponsible regarding litter on their land?
