DORSET-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green Animal Rescue is hoping to find homes for animals in its care this week.

Three-year-old cat Sid is an affectionate lad once he get to know you but can be a little nervous at first. He is looking for a quiet forever home where he is the only pet.

Fellow cat Biggles is a very sweet older gentleman at 16-years-old. He is a little nervous as he is still settling in but once he gets to know you he is an active lad who also loves his home comforts. He would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Allan is a Lop cross rabbit around eight-months-old. He is looking for a forever home with a vaccinated and neutered single female rabbit who is in need of a companion. He really doesn’t like being picked up but loves to be stroked.

Irwin is a handsome two-and-a-half-year old male Greyhound with very striking markings. He would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries but he could live with fellow sighthounds and older children.

Pixie is a very sweet nine-year-old female Greyhound who absolutely loves being around people so is looking for a home where someone will be with her for most of the day. Pixie would like to be the only pet.

Tyrion is an eight-year-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s very laid back but also enjoys his walks. Tyrion can live with female dogs, older children and possibly cats.

To rehome the cats and rabbit call Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre on 01929 480474 and for the dogs call Lincoln Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre on 01929 471340.
