A MAN is due to appear in court after a crash near a North Dorset caravan site.
The 19-year-old, who lives in Mere, Wiltshire, was issued with a postal requisition to appear before Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Monday for an offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
It follows a collision outside the Milton Farm caravan site in Milton on Stour, near Gillingham, shortly before 12noon on Saturday, July 28 2018.
A green Vauxhall Astra hit a wall during the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
A 21-year-old female passenger from Warminster in Wiltshire was airlifted to hospital in Bristol with serious injuries.
Two other occupants of the vehicle were also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries and a fourth was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
