A FALLEN tree has blocked a road in the New Forest.
The tree has come down in Burley, and police are warning drivers to avoid the area.
The incident happened at the junction of Lyndhurst Road and Forest Road this afternoon. The fallen tree has also brought down telephone lines.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Roads Policing said: "Tree has fallen at the junction of Lyndhurst Road and Forest Road in Burley, road is not passable.
"Telephone lines have been pulled down.
"Please do not move the cones out of the road people! They are there to protect you from what is around the corner!"
