A NEW landlady is taking over the management of a popular pub in Wimborne. The White Hart is closed while Sharon Elliott and her team of staff move in, and it will re-open on Tuesday, March 19.
Sharon will be supported by local chef Al Boudreaux and assistant manager Kiall Wheatley.
She said: “I’ve worked in the business for eight years, and I have always wanted to run the White Hart as it’s a firm favourite here in our Minster town which appeals to locals, visitors and customers of all ages.
“We’ve closed the doors for a few days, whilst we move in and set up. We will be open from lunchtime on Tuesday 19 and we look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks.”
Later in the year there will be further investment with a change in décor. The pub will launch new events and a seasonal menu and will be making the most of the outdoor space in the summer.
