SOUTH Today anchor Sally Taylor will officially open Poole Hospital's £1 million refurbished gynaecology department on Friday.
The new facilities will provide additional treatment bays and access to specialist gynaecology treatments and consultations for women in Dorset. The revamp is part of a dedicated investment scheme from NHS Improvement designed to increase capacity and flow in the hospital.
The hospital said it had asked Ms Taylor to perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony because of her strong support for women's healthcare.
