A MAN has died while working at a Poole home this morning.

The casualty went into cardiac arrest at a property in Uppleby Road, Upper Parkstone.

The air ambulance landed in Branksome after the man fell ill. Police and paramedics were also called to the scene.

However, the man could not be saved.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called just after 9.30am today by the ambulance service to reports of a man in cardiac arrest at an address in Uppleby Road in Poole.

"It is understood the man was working at the address.

"Very sadly the man was pronounced dead a short time later. The man’s next of kin are yet to be informed. The coroner has been notified.

"Officers have attended the scene and an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. 

"The Health and Safety Executive has been informed."

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said the incident was at a private address and could not provide any further information.
