TWO men were injured during a fight in Ashley Road, Poole on Thursday night.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance outside of Santander just before 8pm.
On arrival, they discovered two men, aged 34 and 46, had suffered head injuries. They found a baseball bat at the scene.
The men were taken to hospital for treatment.
The 34-year-old man, from Poole, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
An investigation is under way led by officers from Bournemouth CID.
A large section of pavement between Santander and NatWest was cordoned off following the incident.
Forensics officers were also at the scene.
