A CCTV image has been released of a man police want to speak to following a knife-point robbery in Boscombe.

Officers were called to reports of a man armed with a knife in Sea Road at 7.49am on Monday, December 24, 2018.

It was reported that demands were made for money and a local man aged in his 30s needed hospital treatment for a puncture wound to his collar bone.

He was discharged from hospital later the same day.

A 36-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of robbery and was released under investigation.

Detective Constable Kevin Lloyd, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he may have information that can assist our investigation.

“I would urge him, or anyone with information as to his identity, to contact us.”
