DELAYS: Roadworks are scheduled for the comming months
THE A31 through Ferndown will be closed overnight for around four weeks while maintenance work is carried out.
Highways England will be shutting both carriageways of the A31 between Canford Bottom Roundabout (B3073) and Ameysford Roundabout from Monday, April 1. Uddens Drive will be closed at its junction with the eastbound carriageway between the two roundabouts.
Traffic will also be unable to turn right into Uddens Drive from the westbound carriageway.
The closures will be in place from 9pm to 6am each night while contractors undertake drainage maintenance and other works.
Traffic will be diverted via the A347, Wimborne Road East, and Wimborne Road West in both directions.
