BOURNEMOUTH University’s student station Nerve Radio has paired up with Poole community radio station Hot Radio to put out a weekly two-hour broadcast.

The SUBU (Students’ Union at Bournemouth University) radio station kicked off their simulcast on Hot Radio 102.8FM this week.

Presenters of the Nerve Takeover on Hot Radio will change weekly and committee members of Nerve Radio will choose from the previous week’s stand-out shows, providing music, features and games for the people of Poole and Bournemouth.

Nerve Radio station manager Chuck Adolphy said: “This partnership is so exciting for Nerve. It gives students a platform to get their voice heard on FM radio, which is huge. It really feels like the group working at Nerve this year are going to leave their mark on the station for years to come, which fills me with immense pride in the team."
