A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Weymouth church.
Sometime between 6.30pm on Tuesday, January 29 and 9am on Wednesday, January 30, Weymouth Baptist Church on the Esplanade was burgled and a number of items were stolen.
These included a Dell E6440 laptop, a red Yamaha electric bass guitar, a Fender acoustic guitar, an Ovation guitar, three Boss distortion pedals, a camcorder and a Nintendo Wii.
Officers investigating the reported burglary have now confirmed a 49-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
