FAMILIES are being invited to RSPB Arne over the half term, to enjoy a series of Welly Walks.
The events will see participants exploring the wildlife on the nature reserve, near Wareham, and take place from 11am to 12.30pm on Tuesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 21.
Ellie Sunderland, RSPB Arne visitor experience officer, said: “Get your waterproofs and wellies on and join us on our wild welly walks this half term. We’ll teach the children about using journey sticks while exploring all the amazing wildlife that RSPB Arne has to offer at this time of year.
“We’ll start off in the café garden at 11am and then head out onto the reserve. We could be collecting forest treasure, splashing in puddles, or even catching a glimpse of the RSPB Arne's deer, heading back to the visitor centre for 12.30 pm.”
The cost is £4 per child, with a 20 per cent discount for RSPB members. Visit rspb.org.uk/arne for full information.
