A REPORTED £45,000 worth of antique militaria and medals were stolen from a car at Wimborne Market on Sunday.
The Daily Echo understands that the regular stallholder had packed up his pitch and left his vehicle while he went to use the toilet.
He returned to find his car had been broken into and all his stock taken.
A police spokesman said: "We received a report at around 10.30am on Sunday 3 February 2019 of the theft of medals from a car at Wimborne Market. It was reported that the theft had occurred between 12pm and 12.20pm. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made at this stage."
