CANFORD School sixth former Nick Leavesley has been shortlisted for an award by Outdoor Photography magazine.
The contest asks photographers aged 18 or under to shoot landscapes, nature or wildlife subjects that matter most to them, under the title Nature is my World.
Nick took a series of photographs during a visit to Ibiza and entered two in the competition.
He said: "I always try to show a different perspective of a location. I feel very proud that my work has been recognised in this global competition. It’s been a great experience so far and I’m obviously really excited to see who wins."
In addition to photography, Nick is also a talented film maker and has produced both stunning images and a number of films of life at Canford during his time at the school.
