A SECTION of road through Poole Park will be closed all day on Monday.
The closure, from the park's mini roundabout to its Whitecliff entrance, is being implemented as part of the ongoing park works.
A spokesman explained: "This is to allow pumps to reduce the water level in the freshwater lake.
"There will therefore be no access to through traffic during this time.
"All park facilities will remain open as usual."
Borough of Poole says work is progressing well to improve the lakes at Poole Park, as part of the £2.7million National Lottery-funded project.
Specialist amphibious excavators have been used to dredge sediment at the bottom of the lagoon and two smaller freshwater lakes, to increase water depth.
