ALMOST £2,000 has been spent printing paper copies of agendas for next week’s Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole shadow executive committee meeting.

One hundred and twenty duplicates of the 630-page document were printed for councillors at a cost of £15 each.

At the start of Thursday’s meeting of the shadow authority’s scrutiny committee, which examines reports to be discussed by the executive, councillors were asked to keep their copies unspoiled so that they could be reused at next week’s executive meeting.

The 630-page agenda included reports on the first draft budget for the new council, its constitution proposals and details of the new Dorset child safeguarding partnership.

A total of £1,800 was spent on printing the documents.
