DORSET-BASED animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for animals in its care this week.

Tom is a nine-year-old ‘very sweet’ cat looking for a home with no other pets and no small children. He worries a little when he first meets people but soon relaxes into his normal affectionate self.

Barney, 11, is very nervous at the moment and can be very vocal. He’s starting to trust the staff and enjoys strokes when he feels like it. He’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets.

Thyme is a lionhead cross rabbit and Mavis is a lop. They are six months old and looking for a forever home together. Thyme is a little ‘skitty’, whereas Mavis is more interested in people and friendlier.

To rehome any of these pets call Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre on 01929 480474.

Ada is a three-year-old greyhound with a pretty speckled coat and a sweet personality. She could live with medium to large dogs but not with cats. She’d also be happy living with older children.

Batman is a three-year-old ex-racing greyhound. He’s very cuddly and one of the friendliest dogs you could meet. He really enjoys playing with toys and would be happy living with another medium to large dog and older children too, but not with cats.

Beau, a four-year-old ex-racing greyhound is an affectionate boy who loves a cuddle or snuggle up on a warm, comfy duvet. He can live with medium to large sized dogs and older children. However, he would prefer not to live with cats or small furries.

To rehome a dog call Lincoln Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre on 01929 471340.
