A NEW wing of a Poole care home has been officially opened.
The 'Marina Wing' which includes a further 30 rooms opened at Care South's Alexandra House on Monday.
Alexandra House, Alexandra Road, Parkstone, opened last May.
Home manager Emma Cotton said: "Our first residents in the new wing arrive next week and we can’t wait to get to know them and their families.
"We are looking forward to welcoming more residents in the coming weeks."
A Care South spokesman added: "The home is designed with comfort in mind offering a pleasant and peaceful setting with stunning views over Alexandra Park, in the heart of the Parkstone community.
"The addition of a new wing will provide a further 30 purpose-built rooms for new residents."
