POLICE were called to a series of crashes across Dorset this morning during icy conditions.
A man was injured in a single vehicle crash in Bere Road near Wareham. The crash was reported to police at 6.35am, and while officers were still on the scene, a second crash was also reported at 7am in the same location while trying to avoid the scene.
At 6.58am, police received reports that a vehicle had overturned on the Puddletown Road at Wareham.
Police said no injuries were reported and the vehicle was off the road with recovery to be arranged. Police left the scene at 7.40am.
A man suffered slight injuries in a single vehicle crash at Holton Road at Holton Heath. The man was treated by the ambulance service. The crash was reported to police at 6.58am and officers left the scene at 8.40am.
Two cars and a lorry were involved in a crash at the White Post junction on the A31 near Bere Regis. It was reported to police at 7.45am and the road was blocked. There are no reports of any injuries.

A blue Renault Clio also overturned on the A357 at Shillingstone. No one was injured.
The Met Office had issued a yellow weather warning for ice which is valid until 11am today.
