A MAJOR emergency exercise will be carried out on the runway at Bournemouth Airport tonight.
The simulated incident will take place from 7.20pm to approximately 9.30pm.
The live exercise will involve responses from emergency services, including fire crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and Dorset Police.
An airport spokesperson said: “There will be a lot of activity, including sirens and flashing lights from emergency vehicles. Members of the public should not be concerned as this a major live exercise for a simulated emergency incident on the runway.”
