THE passenger of a car was taken to hospital as a precaution after a vehicle drove into a building on Queens Road, Westbourne, earlier this evening.
Nobody else was injured in the incident, which took place around 7pm.
Dorset Police cordoned off the scene while the car, which sustained minor damage to the front, was recovered.
No other vehicle was involved, but traffic did build up in the surrounding area.
One witness said: "Apparently there was an almighty bang when it happened."
The building suffered damage to its front door.
